ASLAK - 'Under the Aries Sign' & 'Kiss of Death'

A pretty fresh two-man band from Italy - ASLAK, has released two singles so far - 'Under the Aries Sign' and 'Kiss of Death'. With Axe on vocals, guitars, synths, and Bret on bass guitar and synths, you can expect a highly talented duo with a lot of innovative ideas.
The first single 'Under the Aries Sign', was released on the 17th of April, and varies quite a bit from the second one, released on the 29th of May.
'UtAS' is quite heavier, darker, and shows the true nature of ASLAK. Meanwhile, 'Kiss of Death' is a little bit too much influenced by 'Cradle of Filth', the band which I'm not a fan of. This single is not bad, it just sounds a little bit too much like CoF, but contrary to that, the story described on it, is intriguing, almost movie-like. 'Kiss of Death' is extremely mood influential - it literally makes you feel like you're stuck in a movie, or at least you can feel that theatrical warmth, almost as if you're watching a play.
If you feel like you need a new band to check out, then choose ASLAK. They're unconventional, talented, and new in the business so they need a little bit of additional recognition for the hard work which they put into creating those two tracks. Całkiem nowy dwuosobowy zespół z Włoch - ASLAK, wydał do tej pory dwa single - „Under the Aries Sign” i „Kiss of Death”. Z Axem na wokalu, gitarach, syntezatorach i Bretem na gitarze basowej i syntezatorach możecie spodziewać się bardzo utalentowanego duetu z mnóstwem innowacyjnych pomysłów.
Pierwszy singiel „Under the Aries Sign” został wydany 17 kwietnia i różni się nieco od drugiego, wydanego 29 maja.
„UtAS” jest cięższy, mroczniejszy i pokazuje prawdziwą naturę ASLAK-a. W międzyczasie „Kiss of Death” jest trochę za bardzo zainspirowany „Cradle of Filth”, zespołem, którego nie jestem fanką. Ten singiel nie jest zły, po prostu brzmi trochę zbyt podobnie do CoF, ale przeciwnie do tego, opisana w nim historia jest intrygująca, prawie jak z filmu. „Kiss of Death” ma ogromny wpływ na nastrój - dosłownie sprawia, że czujesz się, jakbyś utknął w filmie, lub przynajmniej możesz poczuć to teatralne ciepło, prawie tak, jakbyś oglądał sztukę.
Jeśli czujesz, że potrzebujesz nowego zespołu do przesłuchania, wybierz ASLAK. Są niekonwencjonalni, utalentowani i nowi w branży, więc potrzebują trochę dodatkowego uznania za ciężką pracę, jaką włożyli w stworzenie tych dwóch utworów.
