SANGVIS - "Every Bit Of Pain" Single

Sangvis is a fairly new band hailing from Russia and playing music in the genre of Melodic Death Metal/Metalcore. The music group not so long ago released a number of their singles showing exactly what style their music is and what it sounds like. Today I will review their last single called "Every Bit Of Pain"
Well, at the beginning I was unfortunately quite skeptical about the music of this band, because I do not like Metalcore music and it is completely not to my taste, but it was not that bad. Probably because the band also combines elements of melodic death metal, which I like very much. First of all, what deserves praise for this single is that it is soundly well recorded. There are a good mix and mastering of all the singles from this musical formation. The guitars have a heavy and appropriate metal sound, and the rest of the vocals, bass, and drums work very well together. The band Sangvis on their Bandcamp describes that their song "Every Bit Of Pain" presents such a theme - "Our newest song tells the story of a priest experiencing a crisis of faith, it is a more gloomy and serious piece compared to our usual materials. It's still a melodic death metal track, albeit enriched with elements of more modern metal genres" By the way, Sangvis in places, especially in the sound of vocals and guitars, reminds me of the Swedish band Orbit Culture performing Death/Groove metal, whose music and the musical style developed by them I really like, so this is another big plus with Sangvis, because It is shown, that the band has potential and can appear on the metal scene, especially it can go far in the genre of the called "Modern Metal" For all fans who like modern metal, Sangvis band can be a very interesting position and it is worth getting acquainted with it, and now I will write a few words about their previous singles which they also released very recently, in July 2020. "Cure for the Soul" here we have a really interesting track, with a fantastic guitar intro played in cleans with a slight delay. In the song "Femme fatale" we have a meeting more with melodic guitars, not heavy ones, but still, everything is kept at a fairly high level and really well played. The track called ''New Names'' has very balanced riffs in relation to the drums, they work great together and I like it. '' Last Day Home" is a more dark track, where the riffs are also kept in an atmosphere of mystery.
To sum up, Sangvis has great potential among the listeners of "Modern Metal", of course, this is not a band for all metal fans, because if someone likes old metal from the 80s and 90s the most, this band will not appeal to him and will not delight him, but even I will not, I love the style of music that represents Sangvis, I think they are really cool, a newly developing band. I also recommend listening to their 2018 EP called ''Post-Noir", where we have 5 songs, including a very interesting cover of the song from Sting - "Shape Of My Heart" In addition, this band presents a different story in each of their songs and they invent it themselves, also here applause for the band for creativity, idea and choosing their own style and unique atmosphere.

Sangvis to dość nowy zespół wywodzący się z Rosji i grający swoją muzykę w gatunku Melodic Death Metalu/Metalcoru. Grupa muzyczna nie tak dawno, wydała szereg swoich singli pokazując w jakim stylu dokładnie jest ich muzyka i jak brzmi. Dziś zajmę się recenzją ich ostatniego singla o nazwie „Every Bit Of Pain”
Cóż z początku byłem niestety dość sceptycznie nastawiony do muzyki tego zespołu, ponieważ nie przepadam za muzyką z gatunku Metalcore i jest ona kompletnie nie pod moje gusta muzyczne, jednak nie było tak źle. Pewnie dla tego, że zespół łączy także elementy melodic death metalu, który akurat bardzo lubię. Po Pierwsze co zasługuję na pochwałę tego singla to to, że jest on bardzo dobrze nagrany pod względem brzmieniowym. Jest dobry mix oraz mastering wszystkich singli od tej muzycznej formacji. Gitary mają ciężkie i odpowiednie metalowe brzmienie, oraz cała reszta czyli wokale, bass i perkusja bardzo dobrze wspólnie ze sobą współgrają. Zespół Sangvis na swoim Bandcampie opisuję, że ich utwór „Every Bit Of Pain” przedstawia poniższą tematykę – „Nasz najnowszy utwór opowiada historię księdza przeżywającego kryzys wiary, jest to bardziej ponury i poważniejszy kawałek w porównaniu z naszymi zwykłymi materiałami. To wciąż melodyjny death metalowy utwór, aczkolwiek wzbogacony o elementy bardziej nowoczesnych gatunków metalowych” Swoją drogą Sangvis miejscami zwłaszcza w brzmieniu wokalu i gitar przypomina mi Szwedzki zespół Orbit Culture wykonujący Death/Groove metal, których muzykę i wypracowany przez nich styl muzyczny bardzo lubię, a więc to kolejna rzecz na plus u Sangvis ponieważ pokazuję, że zespół ma potencjał i może zaistnieć na scenie metalowej, zwłaszcza może daleko zajść w gatunku tak zwanego ,,Modern Metalu” czyli ‘’Nowoczesnego metalu” dla wszystkich fanów lubiących właśnie modern metal zespół Sangvis może być bardzo ciekawą pozycją i warto się z nią zapoznać. Pozwolę sobie teraz napisać trochę słów o ich poprzednich singlach, które również bardzo niedawno wydali, bo w lipcu 2020 roku. "Cure for the Soul" tutaj mamy naprawdę ciekawy utwór, z fantastycznym intrem gitarowym zagranym na cleanie z lekkim delayem. W utworze "Femme fatale" mamy spotkanie bardziej z melodycznymi gitarami, nie ciężkimi ale i tak wszystko jest utrzymane na dość wysokim poziomie i naprawdę bardzo fajnie zagrane. Numer o nazwie "New Names" ma bardzo wyważone riffy w stosunku co do perkusji, świetnie ze sobą współgrają i to mi się podoba. "Last Day Home" to bardziej już mroczny kawałek, gdzie riffy też są utrzymane w klimacie tajemnicy i mistyczności.
Podsumowując, Sangvis ma bardzo duży potencjał u słuchaczy „Modern metalu” oczywiście nie jest to zespół dla wszystkich fanów ciężkiego brzmienia, bo jeżeli ktoś najbardziej lubi stary metal z lat 80 i 90 to raczej ten zespół nie podejdzie mu i nie zachwyci, ale nawet ja chociaż nie przepadam za takim stylem muzycznym jaki reprezentuje Sangvis to uważam że są naprawdę spoko, nowo rozwijającą się kapelą. Polecam posłuchać także ich EP-kę o nazwie "Post-Noir" z 2018 roku na której mamy 5 utworów w tym bardzo ciekawy cover utworu Stinga- "Shape Of My Heart" Dodatkowo ten zespół w każdym swoim utworze przedstawia inną historię i muzycy sami je wymyślają, także tutaj również brawa dla zespołu za kreatywność, pomysł i obranie własnego stylu, oraz niepowtarzalnego klimatu.
