The music of the one-man project called Lustre, which is the responsibility of Henrik Sunding from Sweden, operating under the artistic nickname ''Nachtzeit'' is not for all listeners of black metal music. Especially for those who like the sharpness, aggressiveness, and austerity of this genre the most. The last Lustre album -'' The Ashes Of Light''(2020), which I am reviewing today, maybe something almost off-putting for them and not suitable for listening. However, for people who like and appreciate atmospheric black metal with a lot of keyboards and ambient inserts, it can be a very interesting item, which I encourage you to get acquainted with it.
The songs on this album are very calm, sometimes even relaxing, and put you in a trance. I think that is also the case on this album, especially due to very well-used synthesizers and electronic music elements combined with atmospheric guitar parts. This is an album that, while listening, made my imagination run very far and began to fly freely. In my head, while feeling the songs on this album, images such as a walk through the forest at night, meeting a pack of wolves or seeing the northern lights in the sky I recommend this album to all those who like this kind of atmosphere. This release also inspired me to create a song with my friend "Lonely Wanderer" in the Rope In Forest project. Especially song like "Like Music in the Night", which is my number one composition from "The Ashes Of Light". The great ending in this song touches my heart. We have a balanced, moderate pace and atmospheric guitars and a keyboard melody here. Perfect for sleeping and daydreaming.

Muzyka jednoosobowego projektu pod nazwą Lustre za który odpowiedzialny jest pochodzący ze Szwecji Henrik Sunding, działający pod pseudonimem artystycznym ‘’Nachtzeit’’ nie jest dla wszystkich słuchaczy muzyki black metalowej. Zwłaszcza dla takich, którzy najbardziej lubią ostrość, agresywność i surowość tego gatunku. Ostatni album Lustre – ‘’The Ashes Of Light’’, który dzisiaj recenzuję może być dla nich wręcz czymś odpychającym i nie nadającym się dla nich do słuchania. Jednak dla osób, które bardzo lubią i cenią sobie black metal atmosferyczny z dużo ilością klawiszowych, oraz ambientowych wstawek, może to być bardzo ciekawa pozycja z którą zachęcam się zapoznać.
Utwory na tym albumie są bardzo spokojne, czasami nawet wręcz relaksacyjne i wprowadzają słuchacza w trans. Myślę, że tak też się dzieje na tym albumie, zwłaszcza za sprawą bardzo dobrze użytych syntezatorów i elementów muzyki elektronicznej połączonych z klimatycznymi partiami gitarowymi. To płyta, która podczas słuchania sprawiła, że moja wyobraźnia wybiegła bardzo daleko i zaczęła się swobodnie unosić. W mojej głowie podczas wczuwania się w utwory na tym krążku, zrodziły się obrazy takie jak: spacer nocą przez las, spotkanie watahy wilków czy ujrzenie na niebie zorzy polarnej. Dlatego też tą płytę polecam wszystkim osobą lubiącym właśnie tego rodzaju klimaty. To wydawnictwo również zainspirowało mnie do stworzenia wraz z moim kolegą utworu "The Lonely Wanderer" w projekcie Rope In Forest. Zwłaszcza utwór "Like Music in the Night", który jest moją kompozycją numer jeden z "The Ashes Of Light". Wspaniałe zakończenie w tym utworze chwyta mnie za serce. Mamy tutaj wyważone, umiarkowane tempo oraz klimatyczne gitary i melodię klawiszowe. Idealne do snu i rozmarzenia się.
Jeśli jesteś fanem takich zespołów jak Elderwind albo Eldamar to musisz zapoznać się koniecznie z muzyką Lustre i tym albumem.
