French black and atmospheric black metal have always stood at a very high level. Which is only confirmed by such great bands coming from this country like Blut Aus Nord, Anorexia Nervosa or Deathspell Omega (which bands I am a fan of) Today, after listening to "Ahi Cab" latest EP from the music project Idolos, I also join this music project to this great group.
Idolos is a music project from France that performs music from the borderline of Black and Atmospheric black metal. This project tells about the Mayan mythology and their culture in lyrics from this band. I will not write too much about the individual compositions on this EP this time, because each composition on this short release holds its own high level. I invite you to listen to this album and see for yourself how good this material is. The EP welcomes us at the very beginning with a Prolog / Intro which is extremely atmospheric. At times this intro/prologue reminds me of a melody from the band Dissection. The percussion work also deserves praise on this album. For me, it is amazing here, very even and perfectly matched with the guitars and everything else. The vocals on this album are also not bad, and all songs are sung using harsh, growl vocal technique. The guitar melodies and the atmosphere of the sound of the whole songs on this album are perfect because in each track we have a great balance between strong fast riffs and melodies as well as calm, atmospheric, and atmospheric ambient transitions. It is thanks to this that this EP deserves great praise and has a huge plus from me.
To sum up, if you are a fan of the French black metal scene as much as I am, then you definitely need to check out the Idolos project and their EP "Ahi Cab". There is practically nothing on it that I would not like and that I would stick to. In addition, this is the first EP of this project in general, so I'm looking forward to what's more and presenting a lot of good Idolos if it releases his first long-playing album.

Francuski black oraz atmosferyczny black metal od zawsze stał na bardzo wysokim poziomie. Co tylko potwierdzają tak wielkie zespoły pochodzące z tego kraju jak: Blut Aus Nord, Anorexia Nervosa czy Deathspell Omega (których to zespołów jestem fanem) Dzisiaj po przesłuchaniu "Ahi Cab" najnowszej EP-ki od muzycznego projektu Idolos również dołączam właśnie ten zespół do tego wielkiego grona.
Idolos to pochodzący z Francji projekt muzyczny wykonujący muzykę z pogranicza Black oraz Atmospheric black metalu. Projekt ten w swoich tekstach opowiada o Mitologii Majów, oraz o ich kulturze. Nie będę zbytnio tym razem rozpisywał się o poszczególnych kompozycjach na tej EP-ce, ponieważ każda kompozycja na tym krótkim wydawnictwie trzyma swój wysoki poziom. Zapraszam posłuchać tej płyty i samemu przekonać się jak dobry jest to materiał. EP-ka wita nas na samym początku Prologiem/Intrem, które jest niezwykle klimatyczne. Momentami to Intro/Prolog przypomina mi jakąś melodię od zespołu Dissection. Na pochwałę na tym krążku zasługuje także praca perkusji. Jak dla mnie jest ona tutaj niesamowita, bardzo równa i świetnie dopasowana z gitarami i z całą resztą na albumie. Wokal na tym albumie też jest niczego sobie, i całość utworów jest zaśpiewana techniką harsh, growl vocalu. Melodie gitarowe oraz klimaty brzmienia całości utworów na tej płycie są doskonałe, ponieważ w każdym kawałku mamy świetne wyrównanie pomiędzy mocnymi szybkimi riffami i melodiami jak i spokojnymi, klimatycznymi i atmosferycznymi ambientowymi przejściami. To właśnie dzięki temu najbardziej ta EP-ka zasługuję na ogromną pochwałę i ma ode mnie bardzo dużego plusa.
Podsumowując, jeżeli jesteś fanem tak samo jak ja francuskiej sceny black metalowej, to koniecznie musisz zapoznać się właśnie z projektem Idolos i ich najnowszą EP-ką "Ahi Cab". Praktycznie nie ma na niej jakieś rzeczy, który by mi się nie spodobała i do której bym się przyczepił. Dodatkowo jest to pierwsza EP-ka ogólnie od tego projektu muzycznego, a więc z niecierpliwością czekam co więcej i dużo dobrego zaprezetnuję Idolos jeśli wyda już swoją pierwszą długo grającą płytę.
