Deadhert - 'Mad Sounds' is a very short EP (released very recently, literally seven days ago) of a one-man Thrash / Heavy metal project from Mexico, responsible for Alex Deadfeels. This release is really short because it lasts only less than 7 minutes, which makes it very difficult for me to evaluate the material on this album, but I will try to do it, because despite such a short EP, after listening to it, I feel quite a lot of potential in it. This release is really short because it lasts only less than 7 minutes, which makes it very difficult for me to evaluate the material on this album, but I will try to do it, because despite such a short EP, after listening to it, I feel quite a lot of potential in it.
First of all, in these four songs on this album, in the vocal, I hear inspiration from the beginning of the achievements of the legendary band Sepultura (especially from their first three albums), which is a big plus of this EP for me. Another positive side of this album is that it has a characteristic home sound (it was recorded in a home studio as well). It can be a real treat for fans of such music and fans of such music recording. The riffs and melodies on this album aren't very extensive, and they are very similar to each other in every track, which is what worries me and is a downside to this album for me. But it's good that these riffs and melodies are well combined and mixed into something between Heavy and Thrash metal. It is in my opinion that I give a good character to this release. I will not stick to the recording of the whole EP and the sound of the drums. I don't know if real or mechanical percussion from the program is used here, but it sounds just fine to me.
To sum up, the EP 'Mad Sounds' From the music project Deadhert I do not offer much for the listener, because it is very short. However, it certainly gives a foretaste of the direction in which I want to go to the main artist and author of this project in the future when he creates his first album. In my opinion, fans of Sepultura and Thrash / Heavy metal from the 80s and 90s will definitely find something for themselves on this album.

Deadhert – ‘Mad Sounds’ to bardzo krótka EP-ka (wydana bardzo niedawno bo dosłownie siedem dni temu) jednoosobowego projektu Thrash/Heavy metalowego z Meksyku za który odpowiedzialny jest Alex Deadfeels. To wydawnictwo jest naprawdę krótkie bo trwa zaledwie niecałe 7 minut, przez co jest mi bardzo trudno ocenić materiał zawarty na tej płycie, ale postaram się to zrobić, ponieważ mimo tak krótkiej EP-ki po jej przesłuchaniu czuję w niej dość duży potencjał.
Przede wszystkim w tych czterech utworach na tej płycie, w wokalu słyszę inspirację początkiem dokonań legendarnego już zespołu jakim jest Sepultura (zwłaszcza z ich trzech pierwszych albumów) co jest dla mnie dużym plusem tej EP-ki. Kolejną pozytywną stroną tego albumu jest też to, że ma ona charakterystyczne domowe brzmienie (tak też zresztą została nagrywana, w domowym studiu) To dla fanów takiej muzyki i fanów sposobu takiego nagrywania muzyki może być prawdziwym smaczkiem. Riffy i melodie na tym albumie nie są za bardzo rozbudowane, i w każdym kawałku są bardzo podobne do siebie, co mnie właśnie martwi i jest minusem tej płyty dla mnie. Natomiast dobrze, że te riffy i melodię są dobrze połączone i zmiksowane w coś pomiędzy Heavy, a Thrash metalem. To według mnie daję dobry charakter temu wydawnictwu. Do samego nagrania całej tej EP-ki jak i brzmienia perkusji, też się nie przyczepię. Nie wiem czy zastosowano tutaj prawdziwą czy mechaniczną perkusję z programu, ale brzmi jak dla mnie po prostu w porządku.
Podsumowując, EP-ka ‘Mad Sounds’ Od projektu muzycznego Deadhert nie oferuję zbyt wiele dla słuchacza, ponieważ jest bardzo krótka. Natomiast na pewno daje przedsmak tego w jakim kierunku chcę pójść główny artysta i autor tego projektu w przyszłości gdy już stworzy swój pierwszy album. Według mnie fani Sepultury, oraz Thrash/Heavy metalu z lat 80 i 90 na pewno znajdą coś dla siebie na tej płycie
