SPELL OF DARK – 'The Vastness' LP

Today another one is a new review of the music project called Spell Of Dark, representing atmospheric black metal from Russia. Earlier I also wrote a review of a Spell of Dark album called 'Journey into the Depths of Winter' today his album called 'The Vastness' which is in a different vibe to 'Journey into the Depths of Winter' but is just as good album. In "Vastness", the rhythmic pieces are calmer and moderate in their place, but the album is very atmospheric and melancholic. I cordially invite you to my acquaintance.
What is thrown right after the first listening to this album is that the album has an amazing atmosphere of melancholy, winter, and sadness. The first composition on this album is privately my favorite number from all the material on this album. The song called 'Faraway Lands' has a very nice rhythm (a bit reminiscent of doom metal) and we also have great guitar riffs and melody here. Each piece on this album looks very good, besides, the Russians are really very good when it comes to composing atmospheric black metal with the atmosphere of winter and melancholy (this is certainly due to the fact that in Russia it is usually harsh and cold winter, and besides, it is very close to Siberia from Russia) It all also influences the sound and atmosphere of Russian atmospheric black metal. What is, in my opinion, the biggest advantage of the album 'The Vastness' is that it is very good to use various kinds of ambient inserts, probably bells, and keyboards. In addition, there is a very interesting and atmospheric reverb on the vocals with a slight echo, which makes the vocal on this album very mystical, dark, and suits the instruments and music contained on this disc. Also, the drum part and sound on this album are pretty cool, and they really have potential.
To sum up, if you are a fan of atmospheric black metal in the atmosphere of winter, and you liked the previous album from the project Spell of Dark - 'Journey Into The Depths of Winter' then you must also listen to this album. Privately, I think that 'The Vastness' defeats 'Journey Into The Depths of Winter' and this album has even better suited my musical tastes.

Dzisiaj kolejna, a zarazem moja druga recenzja projektu muzycznego pod nazwą Spell Of Dark - reprezentującego atmosferyczny black metal z Rosji. Wcześniej pisałem recenzję Spell of Dark albumu o nazwie 'Journey into the Depths of Winter' dzisiaj opiszę jego album o nazwie 'The Vastness', który jest w innym klimacie niż 'Journey into the Depths of Winter', ale jest równie pięknym i dobrym albumem. W 'Vastness' rytmika i tempa utworów są nieco spokojniejsze i umiarkowane w swojej szybkości, ale album jest za to bardzo klimatyczny i melancholijny. Serdecznie zapraszam do mojej recenzji.
Co się rzuca od razu po pierwszym przesłuchaniu tej płyty, to to, że płyta ma w sobie niesamowity klimat melancholii, zimy i smutku. Już pierwsza kompozycja na tym albumie prywatnie jest moim ulubionym numerem z całego materiału zawartym na tym krążku. Utwór o nazwie 'Faraway Lands' ma w sobie bardzo fajny rytm (trochę kojarzący mi się z doom metalem) i oprócz tego mamy tutaj znakomite gitarowe rify i melodyczność. Każdy w sumie kawałek na tym albumie prezentuję się bardzo dobrze, zresztą Rosjanie są naprawdę bardzo dobrzy jeśli chodzi o komponowanie atmosferycznego black metalu z klimatami zimy i melancholii (dzieję się tak na pewno przez to, że w Rosji zazwyczaj często jest surowa i mroźna zima, a poza tym z Rosji już bardzo blisko do Syberii) To wszystko ma także wpływ na brzmienie i klimat Rosyjskiego atmosferycznego black metalu. Co jest jeszcze według mnie największym plusem płyty 'The Vastness' to to, że jest bardzo dobre użycie różnego rodzaju wstawek ambientowych, chyba dzwonków i klawiszy. Dodatkowo na wokalu jest założony bardzo ciekawy i również klimatyczny reverb z lekkim echem, przez co wokal na tym albumie jest bardzo mistyczny, mroczny i pasuję do instrumentów i muzyki zawartej na tym krążku. Również partię i brzmienie perkusji na tym albumie nie jest niczego sobie, i ma naprawdę potencjał..
Podsumowując, jeśli jesteś fanem atmosferycznego black metalu w klimatach zimy, oraz spodobała ci się wcześniejsza płyta od projektu Spell of Dark – 'Journey Into The Depths of Winter' to musisz się zapoznać również z tym albumem. Prywatnie uważam, że 'The Vastness' pokonuje 'Journey Into The Depths of Winter' i ten album jeszcze lepiej podszedł pod moje gusta muzyczne.
