THE STONE – 'Teatar Apsurda'

Today another album under the patronage of Mara Productions. The Stone is a Black Metal band from Serbia, Belgrade to be exact. I only had the pleasure of hearing their music a few days ago, and I really fell in love with it. It is perfect and you can feel the passion of black metal playing. And their release called "Teatar Apsurda" smells really like the spirit of Slavic paganism! I cordially invite you to my review of their album - Teatar Apsurda!
What my ears picked up immediately after listening to this album for the first time is that The Stone is really great at building an atmosphere, and all the surroundings around their material. The album runs at the speed of light from start to finish which is a very big plus, because there is no question of boredom on this album. We have beautiful energy and sound power throughout this album. In addition, it is also great that the band does not sing in the most popular language in the world - in English. The musicians present their songs and lyrics in their native language. Thanks to this, it gives an even greater atmosphere to this material. Another really strong and bright side of this album are the excellent guitar riffs (especially their sound) as well as the work of drums with a bass guitar. Definitely, my favorite compositions on "Teatar Apsurda" are: "Moj grob" with fantastic riffs especially at the end of this number, and the title track "Teatar Apsurda" is also a great strong composition. It is all due to the fact that on this album the atmospheric choirs and very interestingly used atmospheric and ambient inserts deserve a lot of praise. In some places, the riffs and guitar melodies on this album remind me of the activities of the Ukrainian band Pagan Black / Folk metal called Kroda. I felt similar sounds here in terms of ambient inserts and articulation on guitars. At the end, I think that the vocalist's voice on this album also deserves praise, it is very aggressive and has the right growl for this type of material and playing.
To sum up, The Stone - "Teatar Apsurda" is a really great piece of Black metal playing straight from the heart and passion and straight from Serbia. We have a great and really good mix and mastering of the whole album and in the sound. This material influenced me so much that it made me want to get interested in deeper metal bands from Serbia. I sense that I have a great adventure in terms of discovering metal music from this country.

Dzisiaj kolejna płyta pod patronatem Mara Productions. The Stone to pochodzący z Serbii, dokładnie z Belgradu zespół grający Black Metal. Miałem przyjemność poznać ich muzykę dopiero kilka dni temu, i naprawdę się w niej zakochałem. Jest perfekcyjna i czuć w niej pasję black metalowego grania. No i pachnie ich wydawnictwo o nazwie 'Teatar Apsurda' naprawdę duchem Słowiańskiego pogaństwa! Serdecznie zapraszam na moja recenzję ich płyty – 'Teatar Apsurda'!
Co od razu moje uszy wychwyciły po pierwszym przesłuchaniu tego albumu to to, że The Stone naprawdę świetnie potrafią nabudować atmosferę, klimat i całą otoczkę wokół swojego materiału. Album mknie z prędkością światła od początku do końca co jest bardzo dużym plusem, ponieważ nie ma mowy o jakichkolwiek momentach nudy na tej płycie. Mamy piękną energię i moc brzmienia przez cały czas trwania tego krążka. Dodatkowo świetne jest też to, że zespół nie śpiewa w najpopularniejszym języku świata, czyli w angielskim tylko muzycy prezentują swoje utwory, teksty we własnym ojczystym języku. Dzięki temu to nadaje jeszcze większego klimatu temu materiałowi. Kolejną naprawdę mocną i jasną stroną tej płyty są doskonałe riffy gitarowe (ich brzmienie zwłaszcza) jak i praca perkusji z gitarą basową. Zdecydowanie moje ulubione kompozycje na 'Teatar Apsurda' to: 'Moj grob' z fantastycznymi riffami zwłaszcza w zakończeniu tego numeru no i tytułowy kawałek' Teatar Apsurda' jest również wspaniałą mocną kompozycją. To wszystko też za sprawą tego, że na tym albumie na dużą pochwałę zasługują klimatyczne chórki, oraz bardzo ciekawie użyte wstawki atmosferyczne i ambientowe. Miejscami w sumie riffy, oraz melodie gitarowe na tym albumie kojarzą mi się z działalnością Ukraińskiego zespołu Pagan Black / Folk metalowego o nazwie Kroda. Odczułem tutaj podobne brzmienia właśnie w kwestii wstawek ambientowych, oraz artykulacji na gitarach. Na sam koniec myślę, że na pochwałę zasługuje także głos wokalisty na tym krążku, jest bardzo agresywny i ma pasujący growl w sam raz do tego typu materiału i grania.
Podsumowując, The Stone – 'Teatar Apsurda' to naprawdę świetny kawałek Black metalowego grania prosto od serca i z pasji i prosto z Serbii. Mamy tutaj świetny i naprawdę dobry mix i mastering całej płyty i jej brzmienia. Ten materiał wpłynął na mnie też tak bardzo, że wzbudził we mnie chęć zainteresowania się głębszego zespołami metalowymi właśnie z Serbii. Wyczuwam, że czeka mnie wspaniała przygoda w kwestii odkrywania muzyki metalowej właśnie z tego kraju.
