DJEVEL – ''Tanker som rir natten''

Today I will deal with an album that, for me, can be boldly nominated for the best black metal albums of 2021! Today I am talking about the band Djevel and their album - "Tanker som rir natten"
Djevel is a band from Norway (and therefore from the very heart of black metal), which was founded in 2009. So far, the musicians have already released 7 albums and all of them are really in a class of their own. High-quality black metal. The musicians of this project usually sing about death and darkness in their compositions. Their latest work also reminded me of the climates of winter (winter will be soon, and this album will really fit snowy night climates). In the music of Djevel I see large ones inspired by the works of such bands as, for example, Taake, Darkthrone, Lord Belial, or Tsjuder - so fans of these bands will surely find something for themselves in Djevel. It is about the similarity of sound and music production. In each track on the album "Tanker som rir natten" we will hear the brilliant cooperation of black guitar riffs with drums (There is a lot of what we love the most, i.e. - D-Beat!). everything here creates a brilliant climatic whole. The songs are long but not boring. There is tremendous energy in them. Interestingly, the title track "Tanker som rir natten" is an instrumental piece and the atmosphere reminds me of the already beautiful and legendary piece (played on a classical or acoustic guitar) "Forlorn in Silence" from the band Lord Belial.
In conclusion, I don't think I need to write anything else. It's time to get acquainted with this work and enjoy your ears! Especially this disc should be checked by the listeners of the bands mentioned above in my review of this album.

Dzisiaj zajmę się płytą, która jak dla mnie może być śmiało nominowana do najlepszych płyt black metalowych roku 2021! Mowa dzisiaj o zespole Djevel i ich albumie – „Tanker som rir natten”
Djevel to pochodzący z Norwegii (a więc z samego serca black metalu) zespół, który został założony w 2009 roku. Do tej pory muzycy wydali już 7 albumów i wszystkie z nich są naprawdę klasą samą w sobie. Black metal wysokiej jakości. Muzycy tego projektu w swoich kompozycjach przeważnie śpiewają o śmierci i ciemności. Ich najnowsze dzieło skojarzyło mi się także bardzo z klimatami zimy (w sumie już niedługo zima i ten album naprawdę będzie pasował do śnieżnych, nocnych klimatów) W muzyce Djevel widzę duże zainspirowane twórczością takich zespołów jak na przykład: Taake, Darkthrone, Lord Belial czy Tsjuder – więc fani tych zespołów na pewno znajdą coś dla siebie w Djevelu. Chodzi tutaj najbardziej o podobieństwo brzmienia jak i produkcji muzycznej. W każdym kawałku na płycie „Tanker som rir natten” usłyszymy genialną współpracę blackowych gitarowych riffów z perkusją (Jest tutaj bardzo dużo tego co najbardziej kochamy, czyli – D-Beatu!) Nie ma też według mnie sensu wybierania najlepszej kompozycji z tego krążka, ponieważ wszystko tutaj tworzy genialną klimatyczną całość. Utwory są długie, ale nie nudzą. Jest w nich ogromna energia. Co ciekawe tytułowy kawałek „Tanker som rir natten” jest utworem instrumentalnym i klimatem przypomina mi przepiękny już i legendarny kawałek (zagrany na gitarze klasycznej, albo akustycznej) ‘’Forlorn in Silence” od zespołu Lord Belial.
Podsumowując, to myślę, że nie muszę nic więcej pisać. Pora zapoznać się z tym dziełem i cieszyć swoje uszy! Zwłaszcza ten krążek powinni sprawdzić słuchacze zespołów, które w swojej recenzji tej płyty wymieniłem wyżej.
