GARDEN OF EYES – 'Boomhammer' EP

Garden Of Eyes is a very interesting music project of a musician called 'Nattskog' from Great Britain. Garden Of Eyes released an EP called 'Boomhammer' quite recently since May 7th this year. Although this release is only 8 minutes long and has two tracks on it, the album really has a lot to offer for old-school Death / Black metal lovers.
What immediately catches your ears after listening to this EP for the first time is that the sound of the guitar riffs here (they are really good and old-school) is associated with classic Swedish death metal and this characteristic metal sound from this country. I can compare the sound and music of Garden Of Eyes on this release a bit like mixing two metal bands, and there are these bands: Entombed (Sweden) and Beherit (Finland) The first title track on this EP is 'Boomhammer' great track with old school riffs as written above. The sound of the vocals, drums, and the whole album seems to have a slight noise and muffled the sound, which is what I associate with Swedish death metal. The second track is 'Saw Cleaver' with also a great old-school riff in the middle of the composition.
In summary, although the EP from Garden Of Eyes is very short, I think that for fans of old-school Swedish death metal mixed with black metal from Scandinavia it can be a treat and a real musical gem! I heartily recommend it!

Garden Of Eyes to bardzo ciekawy projekt muzyczny muzyka o pseudonimie 'Nattskog' pochodzącego z Wielkiej Brytanii. Garden Of Eyes wydał EP-kę o nazwie 'Boomhammer' dość niedawno, ponieważ 7 maja bieżącego roku. Chociaż to wydawnictwo trwa tylko 8 minut i są na nim dwa utwory to naprawdę płyta ma sporo do zaoferowania dla miłośników old-schoolowego Death / Black metalu.
Co od razu rzuca się w uszy po pierwszym przesłuchaniu tej EP-ki to to, że brzmienie tutaj gitarowych riffów (są one naprawdę dobre i old –schoolowe) kojarzą się z klasycznym szwedzkim death metalem i tym charakterystycznym brzmieniem metalowym właśnie z tego kraju. Sam mogę porównać, że brzmienie i muzyka Garden Of Eyes na tym wydawnictwie kojarzy mi się trochę jak wymieszanie dwóch metalowych zespołów, a są te zespoły: Entombed (Szwecja) oraz Beherit (Finlandia) Pierwszy tytułowy utwór na tej EP-ce to 'Boomhammer’'świetny utwór z jak już wyżej napisałem old - schoolowymi riffami. Brzmienie wokalu, perkusji i całości płyty jakby z lekkim szumem i przytłumieniem dźwięku też właśnie kojarzącym mi się ze szwedzkim death metalem. Druga kompozycja to z kolei 'Saw Cleaver' z również świetnym old – schoolowym riffem w środku kompozycji.
Podsumowując, chociaż EP-ka od Garden Of Eyes jest bardzo krótka to myślę, że dla fanów old – schoolowego szwedzkiego death metalu wymieszanego z black metalem ze Skandynawii może być gratką i prawdziwą perełką muzyczną! Serdecznie polecam!
