OSSUARIO - 'Metal Antichrist'
OSSUARIO is a black / speed metal band from sunny Brazil. It emerged in 2012, but so far the band is on hold. As of 2020, OSSUARIO has released a re-edition of an EP 'Metal Antichrist', originally released in 2016, now under the flag of Death Defier Productions on cassette tapes and CD.
Today, I bring you a review of this exact re-release by DDP.
Let's see what the EP is about, how good musically it is, what mood influences it will have on me, and whether it'll provide any visions or musical pictures.
What catches your attention right from the beginning are extremely dark and powerful guitar riffs, which also are a decent representation of a flawless mix of black and speed metal. Those hot and attractive riffs are backed up by decent drum work. It certainly brought a very evil and sharp feeling to accompany the already distinguished riffs.
And now the vocals... I rarely hear such decent vocal work, where a person is able to ideally connect a black metal style of singing with the speed metal type. The scratchiness, evil feeling, and coldness merge well together and represent this rare, and quite forgotten type of metal - black/speed metal.
I already touched a bit on the topic of emotions on EP, but to enrich what already has been told, you have to know that I haven't heard a release that will make me want to mosh at a show, and at the same time sit, stare into the void and drink red wine... I felt understand while listening to 'Metal Antichrist', it evoked many emotions in me, what's more, provoked many music-related visions, which only completed this extraordinary release.
In my opinion, 'Metal Antichrist' is an EP that speed and black metal supporters should know. It blends flawlessly those two genres together and make them sound like a perfect, coherent whole. The musical side of the EP is very decent, doesn't lack anything, it shows us dedication and utter talent for music, as well as introduces us to many deep, evil, and dark music-related visions, which will highlight and complete the music on 'Metal Antichrist'.

Jeśli chodzi o nowe wydania czy reedycje 2020 roku, OSSUARIO wydało reedycję EPki „Metal Antichrist”, pierwotnie wydanej w 2016 roku, teraz pod flagą Death Defier Productions na kasetach i CD.
Dziś przedstawiam wam recenzję tego ponownego wydania przez DDP.
Zobaczmy, o czym jest ta EPka, jak dobra jest muzycznie się okaże, czy i jak będzie działała na mój wpływ nastrój i czy dostarczy wizji lub muzycznych obrazów.
To, co od samego początku przykuwa uwagę, to niezwykle mroczne i mocne gitarowe riffy, które również są przyzwoitą reprezentacją doskonałej mieszanki black i speed metalu. Te gorące i atrakcyjne riffy są poparte przyzwoitą pracą perkusji. Z pewnością przyniosła ona bardzo mrocze, zimne i ostre uczucia, które idealnie towarzyszyły już znakomitym riffom.
A teraz wokale ... Rzadko słyszę tak przyzwoitą pracę wokalną, w której osoba jest w stanie idealnie połączyć black metalowy styl śpiewania ze speed metalowym typem wokali. Drapieżność, mrok i chłód dobrze się ze sobą łączą i dobrze reprezentują ten rzadki i już dość zapomniany rodzaj metalu - black / speed metal.
Trochę poruszyłam temat emocji na EP-ce, ale żeby wzbogacić to, co już zostało powiedziane, trzeba wiedzieć, że nie słyszałam jeszcze wydawnictwa, które sprawi, że będę chciała moshować na koncercie, a jednocześnie siedzieć, wpatrywać się w pustkę i pić czerwone wino ... Słuchając „Metal Antichrist” poczułam zrozumienie, które wzbudziło we mnie wiele emocji, co więcej, sprowokowało wiele muzycznych wizji, które dopełniły to niezwykłe wydawnictwo.
Moim zdaniem „Metal Antichrist” to EPka, którą fani speed i black metalu powinni znać. Bezbłędnie łączy te dwa gatunki razem i sprawia, że brzmią jak doskonała, spójna całość. Muzyczna strona EP jest bardzo przyzwoita, niczego jej nie brakuje, pokazuje nam oddanie i ogromny talent muzyczny, a także wprowadza nas w wiele głębokich, złych i mrocznych wizji muzycznych, które podkreślają i dopełniają muzykę na „Metal Antichrist”.
